Deadline: 5pm Friday 15th August 2025
Please see the guidance below and follow this carefully to ensure your poster has the best chance of being accepted for display
Posters will be displayed physically during the Symposium so authors must purchase a 2-Day In-person ticket.
Online delegates will have access to the posters via a dedicated webpage during the Symposium
-
Prepare the poster as a single, A2 size landscape PowerPoint slide using this template: (file) and save as a PowerPoint file - this is sized and oriented for display in A2 landscape format, other formats will be rejected
-
Send as an attachment (Max file size 20Mb) in an email to: naps-posters@outlook.com
-
The subject of the email should be “NAPS Poster Submission [your name]”
-
In the body of the email please provide details of any relevant regulatory & governance approvals for publication of your work
-
Please copy (cc) all authors into the email to confirm they have approved the submission.
-
Closing date Friday 15th August 2025 at 5pm

Once submitted the entry cannot be changed for judging. The submitted poster will be used for online display. You may make only minor adjustments for the physical poster displayed at the Symposium (e.g. added data)
-
Candidates must have registered and be in attendance at NAPS in person in order to display and present their posters during the poster viewing sessions. Expenses associated with submissions, printing and presentations, are the responsibility of the authors
-
At least one author of each of the winning posters will be expected to give an oral presentation during the Poster Prize Presentation session at the symposium; this must be in person. Any person(s) not able to attend will have their poster withdrawn from the competition and a replacement found
-
A time limit will be applied for these oral presentations of five minutes, with time afterwards for audience questions. The emailed submission of your poster will be displayed during your presentation - please do not prepare separate slides
-
In addition, during the viewing sessions, all delegates will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite poster. The poster receiving the highest votes will be given the People's Choice award and will be invited to give a short presentation during the Poster Presentation session on Friday
-
The top three posters will be confirmed to the winning authors only closer to the Symposium (the ranks will only be revealed on Day 2)
